Association of Directory Publishers Chairman Laura Hill Is Running for Mayor of Southlake, Texas

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Feb. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Chairman of the Board of the Association of Directory Publishers (ADP) and Co-Owner of Downey Publishing Laura Hill is running for mayor of Southlake, Texas, a suburban city in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.

“Laura has demonstrated incredible leadership as ADP chairman and as co-owner of Downey Publishing,” said Cindi Aldrich, president and CEO of ADP. “Her experience in business along with her deep involvement within her community have prepared Laura well to lead her city as mayor.”

Hill has been a local business owner and a civic leader in Southlake for more than 15 years, where she has also been a resident since 1998. If elected, her top priorities will focus on initiatives aimed at thoughtful, controlled growth and development for the city of over 28,000. She also plans to initiate a program designed to mentor students and develop the next generation of Southlake’s civic leaders.
