Trade group’s chief said ad clutter and confusion is bad for consumers
Over the past few months fear about the growth of ad blocking technology has been on the rise among publishers and advertisers, accelerated by Apple’s recent move to make it easier to block ads on iPhones.
The worry surfaced today at the “Masters of Marketing” conference in Orlando Fla., where some of the country’s best-known marketers such as Unilever, Progressive and Mondelez International gathered to learn how they can cope with all the changes happening in digital marketing.
