R Salon Ad in Interfaith Directory Wins Award

The Woodlands, Texas (Thursday, May 10, 2012) – For many years, the Interfaith of The Woodlands Directory has been recognized and presented Gold Books awards from the Association of Directory Publishers at the Annual Convention and Partners Trade Show. Again this year, The Interfaith of The Woodlands Directory received five Gold Book awards including the ad submitted for local retailer R Salon in College Park Plaza on Hwy. 242.
The Publications and Residential Services team received a 2012 Gold Book 1st Place: Excellence in Cover Design & Art – Product Branding award. Also, a 2012 Gold Book 1st Place: Excellence in Ad Design & Art – Print award for the Full Page Ad for R Salon. The team also received a 2012 Gold Book 1st Place: Excellence in Marketing: Direct Mail Advertising award, 2nd Place: Excellence in Marketing: Sales Support Collateral award, and 2nd Place in Excellence in Marketing: Event award.
“It is truly amazing to win in each category,” said Bonni Horan, Director of Publications and Residential Services at Interfaith of The Woodlands. “The Directory staff is phenomena. Everyone worked very hard to produce the best and most complete directory in print, online and mobile.”
In the past, the Interfaith of The Woodlands Directory has received numerous accolades.

The ADP is an international trade association founded in 1898 to promote the establishment and maintenance of the highest standard of quality and service for the directory publishing industry. The association has over 150 members, many of whom publish more than 100 directories each year. The Gold Book Awards are awarded each year to publishers based on their book’s appearance, community information, and special features. This year marketing awards were added to the Annual Convention and Trade Show.
