The Association of Directory Publishers Announces 2016 Gold Book Award Winners

Traverse City, MI – April 28, 2016 – The Association of Directory Publishers (ADP), announced the winners of the 2016 Gold Book Awards competition held during the ADP Annual Convention and Partners Trade Show in Las Vegas. For over 20-plus years, the Gold Book Awards have been presented annually to recognize outstanding directory products and marketing innovations in the Yellow Pages industry.

Fifty-five awards were presented in 19 categories from two divisions, Directory and Marketing and Promotion. Action Pages LLC was named this year’s Gold Book Publisher of the Year, an honor that recognizes overall excellence in directory publishing and marketing innovations in Yellow Pages products. This award is calculated based on a weighted tally of the votes each publisher receives in both the Directory Division and the Marketing and Promotion Division.

Ronald Mintle, president of Yellow Magic Incorporated, was the recipient of this year’s President’s Award. This illustrious award is given to an ADP member who is selected by the Association’s Board of Directors for important contributions to the Yellow Pages industry or helping further the Association’s goals. Mintle has demonstrated an exemplary commitment to the Yellow Pages industry for many decades; he has enhanced the mission and goals of ADP and is held in high esteem by his peers.

Members include publishers, advertising agencies, certified marketing representatives and suppliers to the printed directory, mobile and online publishing, and internet Yellow Pages.
