ADP Welcomes New Online Publisher Member – Consolidated Communications
Brad Barker has worked in the directory publishing industry for more than 20 years. In 1996 he joined Consolidated Communications as a yellow page telephone sales representative. Shortly thereafter, he took on a national account manager role and during the next 10 years advanced in various leadership roles in sales and operations. He earned the company’s President’s Pinnacle award on multiple occasions.
Industry consolidation took him to McLeodUSA and YellowBook, followed by a brief tour in business development for a CMR. In 2008, Brad had the opportunity to return to his roots and come back to Consolidated Communications as Illinois Sales Manager. In 2012, he assumed his current role as General Manager of the recently rebranded Consolidated Business Marketing Solutions. The company publishes 29 print directories in 10 states and offers a full suite of digital products to customers.
In addition to his work in the industry, Brad is also active in his central Illinois community. He is a past Chairman of the Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce and remains active in the chamber and as a community volunteer. In his free time, Brad enjoys photographing wildlife.
